Since seeing the citer after the invocation of this contract ... Mmg wants to get it.?
Amazing coffee and food. Coffee was really good, I've had the signature coffee. The Kaya toast was really great too and the homemade Kaya is delicious!
MoreWaited for 1.5h for food to arrive and then paid myr 9 for very basic kaya and toast. Staff is totally overworked and they only use the cheapest ingredients. There are also rats on the walls, if someone minds.
MoreSuper Slow, low quality, bad service. We went there at 9:30 on a Sunday and it was four of us. It took 1 hour for them to bring our breakfast. And come on three of us order kaya toast. I begged for my coffee because it was 10:30 am already. People were practically sleeping on their tables waiting for their food. There was no apology or anything. The worse part was the food you see in the picture is difficult from what you get.
MoreSimple decoration but very nice! I like the design so much. Every corner of this place is beautiful. What a very amazing concept. I cant stop taking pictures. The foods taste so great. Very delicious. Nice presentation. Well cooked and so perfect. The portion served are suitable with the price. The price is a bit expensive but very reasonable. Good service and very helpful staffs. Really recommended.
MoreYummy food in a friendly environment. Very good service
We were "persuaded" here by social media. Really photogenic place and good service. But the passion doesn't shine in the uniqueness of the food, or drinks. Prices also pretty steep.
MoreWe got the signature sunshine and very sunshine. Both very good. The coffee was nice as well. Service and ambiance was great.
MoreNice relaxing place with good Playlist and just awesome awesome brew
Best pizza in Malacca .. thanks to visiting chef Vincent. Taste like Napoli! The staff was friendly & helpful, even w MCO restrictions. Don't miss the pizza !
MoreService was good, cafe is cozy with old school peranakan decor. The food that we ordered, tastes good and the drinks are pretty. Had a new drink, First Light, that is not on their menu yet. Taste like apple mojito, without the alcohol, not sweet and quite refreshing. 😊 I would have tried their coffee creations if I wasn't bad with caffeine.
MoreOrdered their signature dish and the food is superb. Will definitely come again.
Good food! Value for money. Nice ambience.
Friendly staff !!! Love the foods especially mushroom omelette. And it's good place for photos.
Morethe place was very clean and the staff were very friendly and polite. the service was very great and excellent. the food was very delicious. expensive but the price reasonable. my favorite place to have a nice lunch and dinner.
MorePerfect place to cool down with ice coffee. Friendly staff and they have plant-based milk alternatives for the coffees. Had the Kaya Coffee with soy milk, delicious! They also don't use plastic straws. Thumbs up!
MoreAlthough this cafe is not very big and the food menu doesn't have much choices, but the food was so delicate and super delicious! I ordered a toast with scrambled eggs, spinach and black sesame on top, it was just superb! That was the best toast I have ever had! And my sons had Salted Duck Egg Spaghetti, dessert, all taste fantastic! They even said that will definitely visit again when go to Melaka in future... So we rate this cafe the best in Melaka City!
MoreSuka gila the decoration and the concept of this place. Very unique and kinda like the old school concept. Beautiful, neat and clean. The space quiet small but not bad, not really crowded. The foods also great. Very delicious, well cooked and yummy. Especially the desserts, very yummy. Really recommended. The price not bad, not too pricey. But, for some people it might be pricey. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Service also not bad.
MoreCozy place to hang out
The environment here is great.... chill & cool. The salmon salad is amazing, my only complaint is it was too small. The staff is very friendly.... will definitely come back. The A/C & WiFi are a plus!
MoreTasty food, but had to wait for long time.
I was the first customer for the day so the boss was apologetic for not being able to do a nice coffee art. Nevertheless, the cappuccino still taste fantastic; the temperature is hot enough and it tasted very strong. The Yin Yong toast was very crispy and crunchy, and the kaya spread is so fragrant! (I couldn't taste the butter at all after eating kaya.) If you are a morning person, try visiting this cafe as it opens as early as 8am, unlike other cafes around the area which operates around 9-10am. I love the morning serenity and the cafe vibes.
MoreThe very sunshine breakfast was really delicious and unique.Even simple toast are also as nice. Not forgetting a cup of nice coffee.
MoreBeautiful rustic decor with good usage of indirect lighting. Good food, the french toast was fantastic.
MoreFood took forever and they switched ingredients from the pictures to the cheapest possible alternative. Whole wheat bread became cheap white toast, salad became a single brownish leaf. Avoid. Better alternatives nearby.
MoreNice deco. Good coffee. Fusion-ish.
Nice place. Great environment great taste of foods and libations. The vibes really great and flourish. The price is average. Recommended for family and friends gathering.
MoreVery beautiful setting with aircon. Extensive and impressive menu.
Nice ambience. Good coffee. Get the dish with the sunshine name on it, delicious
Ohhh my God! Worse place in whole Malacca. Waited 1h for our drinks, mine didn't come at all didn't bother to wait longer, as long it wasn't on the bill.1,5h for food. We ordered Kaya toast and they charged us 9 RM without butter only dry toast with Kaya. We were so mad just paid and left. No friendly staff, felt their stress. Very sad as the place is nice. The mouse in the wall was also nice to watch as we had lots of time. Sad but poor quality of ingredients & overall experience.
Moregreat place for romantic dinner . the environment really cozy and comfortable. the fragrance in the restaurant really suits me very well. the design is old theme and nice.
MoreTaste is average and a tad bit pricey. A lot of mosquitos too bitten my legs when I was there when wearing shorts which is not suitable for family with kids.
MoreNice environment with friendly staffs. You will love it.
It was great! We had the garlic pasta and mushrooms sandwich and their were great veggie options. Also tried their specialty baba coffee and it was sweet but very nice. Would totally recommend it!!
MoreNice ambiance not noisy maybe tat day less ppl...
I'm not sure it's because of Covid-19 but they kind of short of staff. Service are very-very slow, it's too ages for the food to arrive.
MoreIf you are sharp traditional chinese is read from right to left so the signboard “佳業” means kaya the local “peanut butter or jam” equivalent... this is a decent shop but I would have given the food rating as 4 star because probably we are local and to us kaya is something we eat at home and its cheap. but given the effort to make kaya look interesting they really do some zigzag art of kaya around the bread, and its made crispy too... nonetheless the ambient and the decor of the shop are quite good so i upped the rating.. coffee is good and hot, its just an interesting coffee house to chillax and do visit the opposite chinese temple, hindu temple and mosque at the same row side by side.
MoreWhen it was hot and exhausting, I came here to find iced coffee. The staff was so kind, the song was so quiet, and the coffee was so good. The location is also close to the zonker's street.
MoreI had a simple breakfast that was tasty and my friend had a big breakfast with sausage “Kaya Breakfast. She said it was the best ever. Nice atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Close to the river and attractions. We highly recommend it.
MoreThis place is great, for its setting. Though unfortunately, the same cannot be said for its food and drinks offering. While I only got the Kaya Latte, I expected more of a coconut milk-coffee but was left disappointed with the strength of the coffee and also the lack of coconut/kaya flavour. Maybe it was shaken too vigorously, perhaps getting it stirred will do the trick.
MoreEnjoyed our brunch here, we loved the relaxed atmosphere and good food at decent prices.
MoreThis is an amazing fitted out coffee shop, pictures tell all!!!! Amazing.
comfortable seating and good for friend and family gathering. quiet cafe and friendly staff, coffee latte was great but the food are just so-so. price was acceptable.
MoreUnique cool place to relax... Enjoy this Special Baba Coffee - 3in1 and a authentic Kaya Bread.
MoreThis is the second time we came to this cafe. It is a very nice and quiet cafe among the busy street of Jonker. We had a special baba coffee, salted egg toast with mushroom (option for chicken) and salted egg pasta. The food are very tasty.Personally, we prefer the ham than chicken for the pasta but it depends on your tastebuds.Price is also reasonable along with friendly staff. This is a place to come by if you come Melaka.
MoreGood place for having breakfast with children. Menu have many selection suits for kids and adult taste. Atmosphere and decoration enjoyable for quality time with the children and spacious for kids to safely move around. Clean cafe. Salmon and toast left a very deep impression will like to come again when we visit this area again. Not so crowded which is nice when you want to relax and be laidback.
MoreCozy and comfortable place for tea time. We have tried the soursop cheesecake, not bad. Can try out the special iced coffee and Baba coffee. Main menu items such as pasta, salad, soup, toast and etc is available too.
MoreThe best place for breakfast. It just walking distance from our guesthouse. The ambience is very nice and authentic. The food served in timely manner. The service is good and the food is undeniably scrumptious! We just love the Kaya so much. It's really rich with flavour!
MoreNice building, environment, architecture and such are beautiful cafe.
First breakfast in Melaka and we wanted some place quiet so we can enjoy our first morning. Surprisingly the place did not disappoint. We were the only diners and I loved it. I loooooveeeeeee the coffee they served - that quaint aroma of the coffee added to the whimsical ambiance of the place. Finally the food serving was large I had to share mine. Food was FANTASTIC. The waiting from the time we ordered our food was commendable. Definitely a rare find along Jalan Tukang Besi.
MoreNice unassuming cafe. Read the reviews online and decided to give it a go. Service was good, since there wasn't a crowd when I got there. Clean and nicely laid out cafe, provided free WiFi if you need. Food was interesting, though we only had a light bite. A good choice if you want a quiet place to recharge.
